Ellie Perry, RD, LDN
My name is Ellie Perry and I am the Registered Dietitian for Berklee Dining. I have a Bachelor of Science in Culinary Nutrition and an Associate of Science in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University, in Providence, RI. Food has always been a passion of mine and developed through working in restaurants from a young age. I love traveling, experiencing culture specific foods, and cooking everything.
My passion for food grew into a passion for nutrition when I learned how particular foods and diets can greatly impact a person’s health and overall wellbeing. The effects of a poor nutrition can often lead to health issues. However, a well-balanced diet can prevent, treat, and even reverse a variety of health issues.
I am excited to be part of the Berklee team and share my knowledge and experience with the students, faculty, and staff. With my strong culinary knowledge, I will provide unique yet practical learning experiences in a range of settings, from one on one counseling to wellness events and tables. My goal is to provide students with practical advice and strategies for a lifetime of health and wellness.
Nutrition consultations are available to students, faculty and staff free of charge. The focus of sessions are to optimize mental and physical performance through using food as fuel. Topics typically addressed during individual sessions are: eating healthy on and off campus, weight management, nutritional supplements, eating on-the-run, fueling for physical activity, guidelines for vegetarians and vegans, food allergies, eating disorders, general health and wellness, basic nutrition guidelines and more.
