Allie Frosceno, RD completed her undergraduate education at Syracuse University, and her dietetic internship through The Sage Colleges. She is thrilled to be returning to Berklee Dining after spending time as an intern here in the fall of 2015. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Massachusetts Dietetic Association, and the Sports and Cardiovascular Nutrition dietetic practice group. She considers herself a true foodie and her passions include nutrition education outreach, nutrition in exercise, and healthy cooking. She hopes to support both staff and students to encourage balanced choices. She also aims to help provide students with dietary restrictions access to a variety of nutritious foods.
Nutrition consultations are available to students, faculty and staff free of charge. The focus of sessions are to optimize mental and physical performance through using food as fuel. Topics typically addressed during individual sessions are: eating healthy on and off campus, weight management, nutritional supplements, eating on-the-run, fueling for physical activity, guidelines for vegetarians and vegans, food allergies, eating disorders, general health and wellness, basic nutrition guidelines and more.
